1. KYC & Verification

We verify the identity of every business owner on our platform. Owners must upload government-issued identification (Aadhaar, PAN, or GST registration) and undergo address checks before listing any gear. Renter profiles are also screened to maintain a reliable community.

2. Escrow Payment Protection

When you book an item, your rental payment and security deposit are held in a secure escrow structure managed via Razorpay. The owner does not receive payout until the rental is successfully initiated, and deposits are released only after the item is confirmed returned in good shape.

3. Asset Protection & Mediation

We provide structured guidelines for inspecting items at pickup and dropoff. In the rare case of damage, our support team steps in to mediate based on objective evidence (such as timestamped photos and checklists) to ensure a fair assessment and dispute settlement.

Inspection Best Practices for Handover

To ensure full protection under our refund policy, we strongly recommend that renters and owners follow this checklist during every rental handover:

Take Photos/Videos: Capture high-resolution, timestamped images of the item from multiple angles before handing it over and at return.
Check Functions: Power on the device, test buttons, inspect lenses, check fuel levels, or test gears in person.
Verify Accessories: Ensure all bags, batteries, chargers, memory cards, and mounting clips listed in the booking are accounted for.
